The Pumpkin Patch!

We made it out to the pumpkin patch, finally! Of course, the kids were just in an OK mood so they didn't smile as I had hoped they would. But, I think I managed to get a few decent pictures! If you haven't been to the DRI pumpkin patch, I recomend it! They have some cute photo places and alot of pumpkins! Don't forget to take a hay ride. And best of all, it's free!

At least the scarecrows smiled! To be fair, the sun not in the right place.

I like this picture alot!

That's one big pumpkin!

He really liked looking at the pumpkins.

Now we got a smile!

Gracie liked to sit on the pumpkins while Caden just patted them.

The whole gang. Somehow, I'm the only one looking at the camera!

Gracie was drawn to this doggie scarecrow.

There were so many pumpkins!

I think Gracie was tired of pictures.

But, she LOVED the tractor!

Look at that smile!

Yep, she's happy.

Here we are on the hay ride. It was a lot of fun! It was Gracie and Caden's first hay ride. I would've gotten more pictures, but my camera died. :(

Carving our Jack-O-lantern!

We carved our pumpkin this past Sunday and Gracie got to "help". I'm afraid that she is becoming like her daddy in his constant need to be clean. That is not all bad, but when you are removing the insides of a pumpkin, you get a little messy.
Check out our awsome Jack-O-lantern!

Here we go! Jason cut off the top and it's our job to clean out the inside.

At first Gracie seemed ok with this task. But, she quickly decided that I could do it alone.

It's Jason's job to carve the face that I drew on the pumpkin.

She didn't want me to take her picture.

Still carving, this takes a while.

Our Jack-O-Lantern!

She is so proud!

She's happy now, but she'll be crying when we tell her it's time to go to bed and leave the pumpkin outside.

Boo at the Zoo

We had fun at Boo at the Zoo this past Sat. Gracie and Caden dressed as Lucy and Charlie Brown! Here are some pictures of my "peanuts" and some zoo animals!

Gracie was so proud of her pumkin, she didn't want to put it down! Infact, in every picture from our outing she is holding it!

The bear thought we were going to feed him.

She's really tall when she's up there!

Caden just waited in his stroller.

The Jaguar was walking his little path.

Gracie liked the bison, they were close.

Caden and the giraffe.

The lions were really moving and the male tried to get the female to play.

But she just swatted him. It was fun to watch them.

Sweet Charlie Brown :)
