Trick-or-Treat!

Jason and Brian (Jason's brother) worked HARD all day to get all the tile in place at Sherrie's house (Jason's mom). Her bathroom floor is looking good now, minus the toilet that is. Jason will do that at a later date. But, they did get to take a break and let the kids trick-or-treat! We got the kids dressed up and headed out to get some candy in the big city of Graham!

Excited in the car

Crossing the street. Daddy's still dirty from working so hard.

Yay! Candy!

I think GG had as much fun watching the kids as I did!

More Candy! Both of my kiddos did great about saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you". That makes a momma happy!

Everybody walking

Laura and me. I had to get the moms in, too!

He's liking this candy thing.

Brian and Lane. He's the cutest little stinker I know. (Lane, not Brian :) )

Costume Parade!

Gracie's MDO had a costume parade! I got to help pass out candy as the kids paraded by with their cute costumes! Caden was my "helper" and didn't understand why he couldn't get candy, too. I finally gave him some M&Ms and that made it all better!

This is her little MDO class... ALL girls!

He's an M&M fan!

Girl after my own heart! We love us some cupcakes!!!

Fall Festival!

We took the kids to our church's annual fall festival. It was soooo crazy with all the people there! They charge a dollar per person for hot dogs, cotton candy, lemonade, and nachos so it's a pretty cheap way feed the family. They had jump houses and other inflatables, a kiddy train ride, LOTS of games, horse rides, a petting zoo, and so much candy to win! We didn't stay very long but we got to see alot!

My beautiful princess and handsome frog!

Petting the animals! Thanks Mrs. May for letting us pet your animals!

I think this sheep was hungry!

Thanks for helping Gracie ride Hollywood Jennifer!

Mallory and Gracie are Sunday school buddies! I think this is the cutest cupcake and princess picture I've ever seen!

Gracie and Ethan as spiderman!

She went "fishing" for a prize.

Gracie and Austin as spiderman! He's been working out!

Caden was pretty grumpy by the time we left, be he perked up quick with a little milk!

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

We went to Glen Rose to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center for Wendy's UN-birthday. She is having a milestone b-day on Halloween and we wanted to celebrate with a surprise get together! Wendy did an internship with Fossil Rim and was glad to go back and see it agian. The wildlife center is a non-profit property that allows you to drive around looking at all the exotic animals at your own pace. We loved it and will definitely go back when the kids are a little older! But be prepared to pay! It's kinda expensive, especially for a non-profit! I reccomend going in the fall and with a truck like we did! It was so much fun to get up close to the animals and feed them, too! Here are a few pictures from our trip!

Caden started out in the back of the truck and loved to walk from person to person! I think his favorite part was throwing food to the animals (dad bought some food they sell there). He later decided to sit in the front with daddy for a while before he came back to the truck bed.

The UN-birthday girl and Gracie!

A wildebeast. He was waiting for some food.

A black buck.

An Addax. They are critically endangered.

There is a white tail deer on the left and waterbuck in the middle and background.

Mom and Wendy.

The giraffes were the best part!! They are sooo sweet and gentle. We loved feeding them!

Can you tell I liked to feed the giraffe?

Lon, Christy, Wendy and Gracie.

Papa and Caden. It was really cute: later, when Caden got sleepy, he went over to Papa and said night-night and dad cradled him up in his lap. Caden just layed there until we got out of the park, pretty much. Gracie was laying her head on Wendy's leg by that time, too.
It worked out perfect: the kids slept all the way home. (well, Caden at least)

Gracie feeding the giraffe!

He slobered on me! Not too bad though :)

Mom blowing the zebra a kiss goodbye! The zebras wanted us to feed them by hand but we were told they would bite, so we didn't.

Everybody!
