Gracie and Socks, Caden and Elly

My parents live on the very edge of Haskell, and north of thier house is a CRP field and a plot of wheat. Socks and his mom - the horses below - live on the plot of wheat. Mom and Jeremy like to feed them bread, and the horses LOVE to eat it! They've made some good friends.

Socks is in front. He's so pretty. I think his mom is pretty old. She has alot of white hair on her face.

We don't know his mom's name. We just call her momma.

This is Gracie, my dad, and his neighbor, Mr. Culpepper, feeding the horses.

He wasn't sure what to think of the small one.
It was SO windy, but Gracie didn't care.
Now Socks has a new friend.

Caden prefered the smaller four legged animals - my parents cat, Elly.

Acctually, Elly prefered him! She kept trying to rub on Caden and he was not sure about that.

In the end, I think she won him over. Sort-of.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Some friends from our Sunday school class got a lunch and egg hunt togther. Pretty much every kid from the families in our Sunday school department came to hunt the eggs. We had a great time and got alot of eggs! Thanks to the Womacks for planning the whole thing!!

The wind was really bad so we let the kids hunt eggs in the covered play area at church. Caden was not in the best of moods, and when he got into the eggs he got pretty serious. I wish he would have smiled a little! Jason had Gracie while I took Caden, so that's why there are a few more pictures of him than her.

Next we moved outside for the "adult games" (those were Brian Womack's own words) which consisted of an egg toss. The kids sat on the sidewalk and watched as their parents got splattered with egg - Lots of fun!

Two cuties!

Ryan got Brittany pretty good!

And here are the Big Winners! The Toogoods, living up to their name! :)

Family and Friends

This Saturday I went to a wedding with my family and good friend, Kerre. We really had a great time. The wedding was beautiful and after that, me and my family went to the botanical gardens. We had alot of fun wondering throught the beautiful Japanese gardens. Hope you enjoy some pictures from the day!

The Cadenhead sisters and my crazy friend, Kerre.

We've been friends since we were born, b/c our mom's became friends when they were pregnant with us. :)

Strolling in the Japanese gardens with the fam.

I thought these were pretty.

Pretty little path across the pond. Wendy and I are out of order.

The gold fish were HUGE. I bet some could eat a small dog. I'm glad Kerre didn't go with her little yorkie.

Singing in the car

Gracie is not the biggest singer, but something about the car gets her in the mood to sing. Here she is singing one of her favorites on the way home from church!

Caden's Party!

Well, Jason and Gracie got the stomach bug (the really bad one where you are throwing up every 30 min and then it comes back to get you again in a day or two) the week before Caden's Birthday. So, we decided that we would not subject everyone to our germs and moved the party back a week. After carefully cleaning and Lysol-ing the whole house several times, we had his party. We really did enjoy getting together with friends and famliy to celebrate our little guy! So here are some pictures from his big day!

Caden is hangin' out waiting for everyone to arrive!

Great Grandma and Aunt Wendy

I made him a football cake. I don't think anyone diagrees that he's going to be a linebacker.
At fist he just picked at the cake.

Then he really dug in!!!

That is one happy little boy!!

Poor Carter, I don't know what he did to deserve my dad's tickeling!

Then we went to play outside

We had to try out the new ATW (All Terrain Wagon) ((really, that's what its called))

The guys didn't have much luck playing Bocce ball with these two on thier shoulders.

Caden wanted to play with the big boys
