For Jason

On May 31st, you and I will have been married for SEVEN years. How crazy it that!! I still think it is one of the best decisions I have ever made (becoming a Christian is slightly better :) . I'm so glad that you chose to spend the rest of your life with me! I'm so glad that I married my best friend. Thank you for 7 wonderful years, Jason! And I pray we have many more to come!

Remember our big day? Here are a few pictures to jog your memory.
MR. & MRS. Jason Gibson.
Man! You look so good in a tux! We should go to black tie things more often.

Cheers to us!

I think that was the only drink I got that night.

If I'd only known then how much you didn't really like to dance....
I'm kinda surprised you wanted a dance at our reception. All those Aggie Wrangler classes with alterior motives. You were really trying.

It was such a fun day, but I can't believe it was 7 years ago!
I would do it again in a hearbeat! Maybe we should someday.
Happy Anniversary! Love you with all of me!

Totally 80's!!

Our Sunday school class had an '80s party this past Friday night. It was so much fun to dress up and hang out with all our friends. We ate a Mexian pot luck and played 'Name that '80s Tune', '80s Taboo' and even had a hula-hoop contest. Thanks Adam and Mandi for organizing all the fun!

The look-alikes...sorta :)

Don't worry, they're not dancing. Wes' feet never moved :)

More hula-hoops

The best dressed couple award went to Wes and Holly

Ricky got the best individual award

Tarah got the best hair. I'm sure she appreciates more hairspray!

What have I done?!

Some of you know that Gracie is VERY tender headed. Her hair is really fine and soft so it tangles easily. She has never had a hair cut, so it goes almost to her bottom. This combination has lead to very many confrontations and crying sessions when it comes time to fix her hair. She hates to have her hair brushed. (I'm sure my mom will laugh when she reads this b/c I was the exact same way....except mom never let my hair get that long, but it still tangled, and it still hurt) So when Caden's hair got long enough to need another trim, Jason said "why don't you cut Gracie's too" ..... And that's when I had a lapse in judgement. We've been talking about getting her hair cut for months and just haven't done it. And, I guess the big fit she threw earlier that day before church helped me decide to try my hand at cutting her hair.

Well, it's not the worst job ever (in my opinion) but it's definitely not the best either. But the very worst part of it all is -and I knew it would happen, that's why I've put off her first hair cut until now - most of her pretty curls are gone. I'm SO sad. I loved her sweet little curls and I'm going to miss them. But, on a better note, her hair is less tangled now.

She seems happy, so I'm happy.

More Kid Pics...you can't have too many!

I HAD to add a few more. Brenna has been having sponge baths for the past almost 6 weeks because her umbilical cord had not fallen off. But, it finally came off this past weekend! Yay! So she got her first "real" bath yesterday and I had my camera ready!

So far so good.

She's starting to coo, that's a good sign!

Yes! She likes it!
By the way, she's been smiling for a couple of weeks now, but this is the first good smile I've gotten on camera!

I took these pictures after church. I love getting pictures of all 3! They look so cute in their Sunday clothes!

I'm a pretty proud momma!

Here Lately

Gracie was not happy that Caden got to hold Brenna first ... because it's SO important to be first, ya know.

She got over it pretty quick though.

How did Jason get this little girl to sleep like this?

By doing his favorite past time, of course! That man loves to vaccum. But hey, any sure way to get her to sleep is OK with me!

I love her little flower towel. And she smells soo good after a bath!

Mother's Day

My friend Bree sent me a text saying "happy mother's day! times 3!" And that is crazy!

I did get a few pictures of the kiddos on Mother's day. But I didn't get a picture of me and all three of the kids dressed up like I wanted to. Or a picture of me and mom either. Maybe next year. :( We dedicated Brenna at church, but I don't have pictures of that either. (I'm going to have to work on that, but it's really hard to remember everything, especially a little camera) The church did have some one taking pictures and I can't wait to see how it turned out. Gracie and Caden did great at "big" church and then we took them to their Sunday school classes. It was a good day.

Is this girl photogenic or what!

They do love each other .... when they're not fighting or annoying one another.

Ready for baby dedication.

Mom made brownies for dessert and we topped them with whip cream, strawberries and chocolate syrup! YUM!

As you can tell, the kids loved it!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had to add this one. She was all curled up on the couch this morning. So sweet!

Wait a Minute!?

How did that happen? How did a month fly by so quickly? I can't believe Brenna is alreay a month old!

She is doing great! Eating like a horse, so it's no wonder she is growing like a weed! On our scale she weighs about 10 lbs.
She's holding her head up more and a little higher, too.
She's gaining some more cheeks and a more pronounced double chin! I've been told the added "fluff" makes her look more like Gracie did at this age.

She's still a good sleeper, but is awake more often now. Sometimes that's good and sometimes it's not. :)

Big brother and sister still like her!

My babies!

Happy One Month Birthday, Brenna!
