Wait a Minute!?

How did that happen? How did a month fly by so quickly? I can't believe Brenna is alreay a month old!

She is doing great! Eating like a horse, so it's no wonder she is growing like a weed! On our scale she weighs about 10 lbs.

She's holding her head up more and a little higher, too.

She's gaining some more cheeks and a more pronounced double chin! I've been told the added "fluff" makes her look more like Gracie did at this age.

She's still a good sleeper, but is awake more often now. Sometimes that's good and sometimes it's not. :)

LOVE SPRING!

Spring is my favorite time of year for many reasons: the weather, Easter, my birthday and now Brenna's (Caden's is still in winter), the flowers and rain. It's the end of staying cooped up inside from the cold! You can start wearing shorts and flip-flops agian! And it also means that the swimming pool will be open soon!

We got to go play at the park the other morning in the beautiful spring weather, so I snapped some pictures. Gracie and Caden need a little attention with all those Brenna pictures.

I'm so glad they have eachother to play with, especially right now. If they would just stop fighting.... :)

Who wore it better?

I saved this little dress that Gracie wore to church for the first time!

I think Gracie filled it out a little more than Brenna, and she was not as happy as Brenna was at picture time. I have alot of Gracie's clothes saved for Brenna, so we'll get to have many comparisons to come. I wonder if Brenna will wear an 18 month dress at 6 months like Gracie did! :)

First Week (and a half)

Well, the last week and a half have flown by! We have a sweet baby girl and a little less sleep, but overall we are doing great! So far Gracie and Caden seem to be adjusting well to the new addition, but that is probably mostly because she sleeps sooo much - its almost like she's not here at times. Brenna is doing great! Eating like a champ and already gaining weight. She was 5 oz heavier at her 1 week appointment and Dr. Wiley said she looked great! We may have another Gracie on our hands, the way she's eating :) I'll take it! I think chubby babies are happy babies!

Brenna is Here!

Brenna Leigh Gibson has made her arrival on April 6th, 2010 at 10:08 AM!! After a very short and easy labor and delivery, I might add. Maybe because she is the smallest of the Gibson kids at birth - she was only 7lb 13oz and 19 3/4 inches long! She is perfect and healthy and just beautiful (if I do say so myself :)
