We have a little mamma bird who decided to make her nest in my hanging basket. It was fun to watch her build it of all sorts of things as you can see from the pictures below. I would check it periodically, looking for eggs. Then one day (last Monday), there were two little eggs. Very light blue/teal with chocolate brown speckles. The next day there were 4 eggs. Yesterday, Jason said that there was one baby bird hatched. Today, there are 3! It will be fun to watch them grow and someday fly away. I wish I knew what kind of bird they are. Not a common sparow, I don't think. Anyways, I'll try to keep up with my little bird friend's progress.
